Privacy Policy

Chaseline ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile CRM that helps small business owners track sales leads and customer follow-up. This policy explains what information Chaseline collects, how it's used, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account information: the email address you sign up with.
• Deal and contact data you enter: names, phone numbers, email addresses, company names, deal notes, and activity you add for your own leads and customers.
• Gmail data (only if you connect your inbox): with your permission, Chaseline reads recent email threads to detect customer conversations and their status, and can send emails on your behalf when you tap "Send" on a drafted message. Chaseline never sends email without you reviewing and approving it first.
• Contacts (only if you use "Import from Contacts"): with your permission, Chaseline reads the single contact you select to prefill a new deal's name, phone, and email. Chaseline does not access or store your full contact list.
• Photos you attach to a deal: photos you take from within Chaseline are stored privately and are only ever visible to your own account.
• Calendar (only if you use "Add to calendar"): with your permission, Chaseline creates a calendar event for a meeting you schedule with a deal. Chaseline does not read your existing calendar events.
• Push notification token: a device identifier used to deliver notifications about your own deals.
• Referral program: if you invite another business owner and they sign up using your code, we record the link between your account and theirs (so we can credit you) — no other data about that account is shared with you, and no data about you is shared with them beyond your invite code.

Chaseline does not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or precise location data.

How we use your information

Your data is used solely to provide Chaseline's features to you: organizing your leads, detecting when a deal is going cold, drafting follow-up emails for your review, and notifying you about your own pipeline. Each account only has access to its own data.

Google user data

Chaseline's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to power the inbox-scanning and email-sending features described above, is never used for advertising, and is never sold.

Sharing with other services

We do not sell your personal information. Chaseline relies on the following service providers to operate:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and server-side logic.
• Cloudflare — provides content delivery and network security for our app and website infrastructure, and processes standard connection data (such as IP address) as part of that.
• Google (Gmail API) — only if you connect your inbox, as described above.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — when AI-assisted drafting is enabled, deal context and email content are sent to Anthropic to generate a draft message for your review. Drafts are never sent without your approval.
• Expo — delivers push notifications to your device.
• Sentry — collects crash and error reports so we can diagnose and fix bugs in the app. These reports may include device information and diagnostic data from the time of the crash.

These providers process data on our behalf to operate the app and do not use it for their own independent purposes.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing ChaselineLLC@gmail.com.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and database access is restricted so each account can only read or write its own records.

Children's privacy

Chaseline is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
